Guy Batley Plumbing and Heating is a family run business that has provided a professional service throughout Yorkshire for over 15 years. Our experienced team of plumbers and gas engineers cover all aspects of domestic, commercial and industrial mechanical engineering. We pride ourselves on our reliability, good workmanship, honesty and our friendly approach.
We provide a comprehensive service to all levels of property development from an individual house to larger scale housing developments, renovations, accommodation, property conversions and office buildings. We ensure all work completed will exceed the expectations of our client. We carry out all phases of the project development from planning, design construction, installation and commissioning.
Our plumbers and engineers hold the required qualifications and registrations for all areas of work undertaken. We continue to provide professional development resources for staff to maintain the highest level of knowledge and expertise.
We fully document all quality control procedures to provide reliability, consistency and high standards. We regularly review our Quality Management System, updating our Health & Safety Policies and Procedures to ensure that we are fully compliant with necessary regulations to work on all sites. We work together with all tradesmen on site to maintain fluidity, efficiency and communication between trades.
2005
Company formed
Building a business based on good workmanship, trust and exemplary service. Always putting the customer first. With a passion for plumbing and heating engineering and dedication to the trade, Guy soon became a name that could be trusted within the local area and other tradesmen.
2010
Company formed
With the business continuing to grow and a few commercial contracts under our belts we now have a sizeable workforce. As the profession develops we continue to meet new concepts and designs head on, with Guy moving his team forward within the commercial and industrial field.
2015

As we expand we employ an accounts and administration department, strengthening our relationships with our clients and enhancing efficiency to the services that we provide.

Continued Development
Changing technology and the need for us to be mindful of the environment will continue to inspire the way we work. Incentives to lower the carbon footprint within our homes and businesses will shape the services that we provide. Guy continues to maintain the philosophy that knowledge is key and will always strive to be at the forefront of new innovations within our field, attending continued professional development wherever possible.
2025
Present Day
Members of the Micro Generation Scheme and Renewable Energy Consumer Code, providing professional & bespoke design and installation of air source heat pumps. Formed long standing relationships with leading manufacturers of ASHPs and the network of support providers, to continuously improve skills & knowledge to be highly competent & compliant in this field. Although we have brought the company into the renewable energy sector, we also maintain our high standards of work in all other fields of plumbing & heating. Covering both domestic & commercial properties.
Environment & Energy Saving Work
At Guy Batley Plumbing & Heating we are mindful of the innovation for businesses to become more energy efficient and reduce their carbon emissions.
In support of this we have reduced our greenhouse emissions and have become more energy efficient by:
- Using more energy efficient light bulbs.
- Installing a more energy efficient heating system.
- Recycle materials.
- Reduce printing, if printing were necessary, we would print double sided.
- All staff memos, manuals, handbooks and policies are distributed online.
- Use recycled ink.
- Vehicle share – whenever possible workmen are paired based on location to reduce the number of vehicles on the road.
- PCs and lights are shut down at the end of the working day.
